NC-X participated in the Triangle Ride For Kids on May 2nd. We had the following NC-X members volunteer: Bob Hunter & Tammy Holt, Russ Dunst & Debbie Kruger, Denny & Sue Marlette, Rick & Barbie Yost, Anita Savage, Tammi Horn (STARS), Johnny Hilliard, Jimmy Broadway & new wife, Rich & Jenny Fix, Fred & Judy Haynes, Paul Trahan and Bob (Goose) & Dorothy Richards. On RFK’s day 825 motorcyclists raised $114,735. NC-X collected $1246.88 from various activities (Chick-Fil-A, Auto Bell, auctions at our gatherings and Wal-Mart. The number of NC-X members that volunteered really makes me proud that we all came together and supported this very worthwhile cause of trying to find a cure for children with brain tumors. Give yourselves a BIG hand of applause! You’ll notice that our own Tammi Horn is a survivor and one of the RFK’s STARS. If you have never participated in a RFK’s event you really should– it will be one of the most rewarding events that you ever attend.
